AVOID

ANTLERS
Avoid chew toys made of hard materials that can damage your pet's teeth—instead, choose toys made of tough rubber or nylon materials that can withstand your pet's strong jaws. If your teeth don't leave a mark when you bite into it, its too hard for your pup!
TOYS WITH PIECES
No bits and pieces — Don't purchase toys your pet can chew into pieces that can pose a choking or obstruction hazard. Avoid any toys with plastic eyes that detach, instead find ones with embroidered eyes, or none at all.
RAW HIDES
Rawhide bones and other edible chews can pose a choking and blockage risk. In fact, this is a much bigger risk than contamination or digestive irritation. If your dog swallows large pieces of rawhide, the rawhide can get stuck in the esophagus or other parts of the digestive tract. Yes, this means best case scenario, surgery will be required.
PIG EARS
They can also harbor all kinds of nasty bacteria to grow on! And, if those drawbacks aren't enough, pig's ears can even become a choking hazard or lead to digestive obstructions if your dog is likely to tear off large chunks and swallow them whole. Short version - it's not worth it!
